The Boeing executive who oversaw the company's troubled 737 Max program is out — part of a broader leadership change the company announced on Wednesday.
Boeing executive Ed Clark, who was in charge of the 737 Max program, has left the company. Clark oversaw Boeing's factory in Renton, Washington where the plane that became Alaska Airlines flight 1282 was assembled.

Katie Ringgold was named Clark's successor as vice president and general manager of the 737 program and Renton, Wash. plant.

sort of a different topic, but I always find it weird how they teach in school how planes fly, but a plane can totally fly upside down so the bernoulis principle is sort of BS

do we even know why planes fly?

bernouli's principle is an efficient mode of flight. Flying upside down is a lot more drag.

Bro if the top of the wing has less pressure and the bottom has more pressure, then it also has those principles even when thenplqne is flipped, so the plane should be sucked downwards towards the earth.

So it seems that Boeing also created a new position "Senior VP of Boeing Commercial Airlines Quality" which leads quality control and quality assurance efforts.

This position is given to Elizabeth Lund, who has a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and masters in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
