Trump is screwed. He doesn't have the liquid, nowhere near it. Interest is rising every day and if wants the appeal, he has to pay all of it plus the interest.

Else, his assets get seized. He also doesn't understand that you can't ground on an appeal on "not winning".


If I were him, the only thing I could see working is just do the usual GOP trick of stonewalling the courts until I could become President again and use those juicy immunity powers. Then he can use bribe money or weaponise prosecutions or whatever.

Chances of that succeeding: 0.01%
