Is 'Checkers' poverty fast food?

Thinking of ordering dinner tonight again, wondering what I should get. Felt like some burgers...

Never tried 'Checkers'. A co-worker was raving about 'Culvers' but we don't have that in NYC.

Thoughts?

Culver's is over rated imo -- we have them in MI all over. My go to is Five Guys personally. Never had Checkers.

I like checkers but rarely go there because every locale around here is ghetto af and there’s always space walkers that will sit in the line and talk to they cuzin at the window. I’d consider it the kfc of burger places

I get Five Guys fairly 'regularly', and do enjoy it. Wish the locations near me had the milkshakes though, f'n poverty NYC.

That's pretty much every Burger King in NYC these days. Poverty/trash/ratchet/dirty af.

And the only 'hack' I know is ordering a Whopper 'from the grill' and they mark it on your receipt and have to do it fresh srs.

You may not believe me, but I hadn't had it with a milkshake until I had Five Guys at Birmingham New St train station years back.

There's a place in NYC called '7th Street Burger' that has the best loaded fries I've had in my life.

It's one of their smash patties on crunchy fries, with some roasted onions and lots of their 'house sauce' (like a nice mac sauce). That and a double cheeseburger and I'm out lol.

The fries were so good I didn't even put ketchup on them srs. I demolished the whole order, except for this 5lb milkshake.

Yeah, I had a Checkers 10 minutes away that went out of business during Covid. Only went there 2-3 times, but it was always pretty tasty.

Checker’s as far as fast food goes, is excellent. Fries are the goat. Even their frozen fries that you buy in the supermarket is better than most fries you can get from anywhere.
