Went straight to Malevolen Creek to fight the Automatons.

Haven't had any server issues so far. Had one freeze and I had to close the game, then a few framerate slows in heavy battles with excessive explosions (GTX 1070 Crew lol).

Fun game.

Been thinking about this, I don't normally play these kinds of games but it looks goofy and fun. I like Starship Troopers. Yet, my backlog is just tremendous and only growing. Not sure I need it in my life.

My bullets were just bouncing off them lol

I figured they were sort of the end game side of things

Yeah they're tough, but it was pretty fun going in and fighting them first. Once you get better Stratagems they get easier to counter.

I'm really trying to grind to unlock the more powerful primary weapons. Unlocking tier 2 doesn't take long, but it looks like you don't get really powerful stuff until like T4 and beyond.

Bauldurs Gate III, though I play this game solo with randoms and it's pretty fun.

That's what I wonder, is if it's fun playing solo. I don't play with other people so it looks like you need a squad, or is it like raids in WOW where they just set you up with randoms?

When you pick a region/planet it shows you how many people are in that mission. You can join on them or start a mission solo and people will eventually join on you. Though I've done full 30 minute missions without anyone joining.

A few of my friends have been pestering me to get this - I still might...

I honestly didn't, but I couldn't help adding this one to my collection. It's a fun shooter that I can just turn my brain off and grind through after work. No pvp to worry about, just straight up spreading Democracy.

Some really fun over the top moments to experience in game. Calling in an orbital strike or eagle strafe to wipe out a group of bots is so satisfying.

bought it Friday, its a fun game, but it is also a GRIND.

Early bug levels get old quick and get boring quick. Once you get to the bots it gets more fun and VERY challenging.



the game is definitely a squad up with the homies kind of game, since its not PVP at all, 100% PVE so playing with randoms can suck when your 3 others have no mic, no communication, and you get a few who just run off doing their own thing. you can still win with randoms, but like i said more fun with the homies and 4 mics going.

I have no issues logging in at all this weekend, zero queue time.

it hard crashed twice on me with no error pop up, just straight to desktop but other than that i can let it pass.


I recommend this game if you are burnt out of battle royale shooters and other pvp shooters dealing with hackers all the time.. its a breath of fresh air

There are bots in that game? Yikes man.

It's really fun but it can be a grind. It's wild how there are dudes on Steam complaining that there's nothing else to do because they decided to play nearly all day every day lol. Now they're mad because there's no "endgame" and they can't even "farm" materials anymore. I play for 2-3 hours nearly every day after work and I'm still not level 10 and I have many tiers to go before I even unlock everything the game has to offer. Geezus fuk get a life, I might just start leaving the game when I see anyone level 15+ join, srs.

My only gripe is sweaty teammates already. Sometimes I just get kicked for no reason or if I don't already have a meta weapon. Had one squad drop me because I said couldn't get the radar aligned and asked if I had it right. But for the most part people are chill. Just wish the sweats would fuk off somewhere else.The automatons, they're robots. Slip of the tongue on my part lol.

Haven't ran into any actual bots aside from players blowing me up on accident. I don't really get angry at them for it, the game is supposed to be goofy fun, but some dudes take it personally lol.

For anyone that may not know, the terminal makes a chirp/confirmation noise when it's aligned inside the allotted range.

Yup, had to look it up on reddit. They could've just got on the mic to say it.

The guy in my squad was pinging the direction of southeast. I already had it that direction and kept asking if I had it right, the he just kept spamming negative.

By that point he could've said "listen for the chirp" instead of clogging my audio with "Negative!". In any case, I'm just gonna keep google pulled up on my phone.

OH and we failed the defense objective to the Automatons. 12k worth of stratagems I lost out on because everyone wanted to fight the bugs or play hero on Malevelon creek (that was me my first two days tho hehe) I think it was Vandilon we lost. Whack, but kinda realistic.

I don't think we were ever going to win that lol. Requisition is easy to farm anyways. Samples is what will take forever.

Just picked this up and did first mission last night. Totally wild how you're waiting for the dropship and the bugs just keep on coming. Super fun, but I'll be curious if solo is possible to git gud.

Really good break from the Soulslikes that keep me throwing my controller.

People do solo helldive runs (hardest difficulty) but it comes down to stealth and run-n-gun to survive. No matter your skill you don't have the resources to clear the map solo so it's about efficiently completing objectives.

What level are they? I had a level 39 drop in on my easy mission last night. NGL he kinda ruined it for me with all of his OP stuff.

Apex needs to bring back Straight Shot like yesterday. Regular BR is ruined for me after playing that srs.I honestly can't say for sure. Once the hype dies down I do think the player count will drop from the 400k I saw on Steam during release week.

I got it yesterday and really enjoy it as a non-serious recreational gamer. Would be cool to see them expand / build on it kind of like Destiny.
