Foreign doctors (Nepal, other) caught cheating medical exam

National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) - the people in charge of medical assessment.
United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) - the exam.

Cliffs:
- Foreign doctors access online chat group where questions and answers are posted (the old Microsoft Exam ********* style cheat, though possible corrupt insiders at play)
- Statistical inference indicates many test takers cheating. Too good. Too fast. Too much overlap across test takers.
- NBME infiltrates the chat group and sees exactly what is going on. Screenshots available.
- NBME simply invalidated suspected cheaters.
- Unhappy cheater takes NBME to court, claims RACIST, civil rights violation. Dindoo!
- Latest court judgement, though not final, sides with NBME.
- This is BIG. Many foreign doctors involved in cheating. "In fact, using agreement analysis, they’ve **already found evidence of cheating** in examinees who took the USMLE in Jordan, Pakistan, and India."

This Twitter guy is covering it (Bryan Carmody = Sheriff of Sodium)
I’ve gotten DMs asking “How could the USMLE prove they cheated? High scores alone don’t prove that!”

“How do I know my high score won’t be flagged as evidence of cheating just because of where I took the test?”

Lemme explain how I think these cheaters were caught.
UPDATE:

The court issued its full opinion in the USMLE cheating case… which can best be characterized as a broad skepticism for the plaintiff’s claims and legal theories.

The case isn’t *officially* over… but it’s hard to see a path to a comeback.

This isn't a suprise, why do you think gulf countries treat them like crap and only have them as guest workers.

My dad worked in construction in Saudi Arabia in the late 70's early 80's and he told me after hajj all the Pakistani guys would try to get jobs doing electrical, plumbing, engineering, etc.. anything. When they would ask to see some qualifications 99% of them would provide forged documents or somebody else's documents.

I remember watching a documentary about the burjj khalifa and the Scottish foreman was exhausted teaching these guys how to lay bricks even though they all said they were brick layers lol
