I think a lot of you boys are sold the image of a young man sitting out at the lake, gazing into the horizon, with a pocket full of skipping stones collected earlier in the day. He throws a few, but can only get three good skips on those suckers. Not flat enough. Then, from behind, a stone flies by and damn near makes it across the entire lake. Eight or nine skipper there! He turns around and sees a beautiful girl flashing a nice big smile. The two stone-skipping lovebirds sit side-by-side glaring into the tangerine sky as daylight falls.

Let me tell you boys why this will never happen. Girls today don't even know how to find a good stone, let alone skip one on a lake. I bet they don't even know that a stone can be skipped on a body of water. They're too busy looking at Instagram and posting TikTok videos to even care about going down to the lake anyway. And if by some strange chance an attractive girl was actually out there skipping stones, she'd have a rock in one hand, cell phone in the other, taking videos for her followers. Cleavage hanging out. Face painted up. And she'd probably laugh at the creep sitting there alone, with his buttcrack showing, staring at an empty sky like a jackass.
