Alleged Air Force member lights self on fire at Israeli Embassy






I got footage of the self-immolation at the Israeli embassy in DC.

The individual, wearing fatigues, introduces himself as “an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force and I will no longer be complicit in genocide.”

After ignition, he repeatedly yells “Free Palestine.”

Man critical after lighting himself on fire outside Israeli Embassy in DC

A man is in critical condition after reportedly setting himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC Sunday afternoon.

The DC Fire and EMS services were dispatched to the scene shortly before 1 p.m., a spokesperson confirmed to The Post.

By the time first responders arrived, the flames had already been extinguished by members of the US Secret Service, the fire service added.

The man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

In a statement, the consul general of Israel to the south-east US, Anat Sultan-Dadon, said that the diplomatic mission is "saddened to learn of the self-immolation at the entrance to the office building".

"It is tragic to see the hate and incitement toward Israel expressed in such a horrific way," she added.

"The sanctity of life is our highest value. Our prayers are with the security officer who was injured while trying to prevent this tragic act"
