Have you noticed how rollie pollies don't exist anymore?

When I was kid I would play with them all the time but I don't think I've seen one in the last 10-15 years.

I still see them from time to time, under rocks and logs, but lots of insects simply aren't as common anymore:

ladybugs
preying mantis
butterflies....especiallybutterflies (monarch/swallowtail)

or hell, just go on a road trip in the summer. My parents car use to be covered with bugs. We'd have to stop at a gas station and wash the windshield there were so many...not to much anymore.

Timeline matches with 2012. They patched it out of existence in 2012.
