Putin looks like a stereotypical slav

Many Eastern Europeans have turkic or central asian ancestral genes in them. Bulgarians and Western Bulgarians (North Macedonia) for example derive from a mixture of slavs and some proto-bulgarians who were turkic settlers coming from central Asia.

Still EE is way more pure than the West, where everyone is settled to become a mutt.
