Home Depot Day Laborers

Thinking about picking up some immigrant day laborers from Home Depot to build my fence. How much should I pay them? Am I supposed to give them food and water? What about a place to chit or can I tell them to dig a hole?

Does anyone have any experience with them?

they come as a group package, you find the one that speaks english and tell him how much work you have and how much you are willing to spend. He will then whistle and select a few of his buddies for help.

Can any idiot build a fence? I think I’d go with a fencing company unless I was going to do it myself.

I mainly just want them to drive the 300 t-posts I need to put in. I would think that if I put up 2 guide lines and mark the depths of each one they should be able to handle it. Maybe not?

Depends what kind. Draw line, dig hole, pour quick-crete, drop posts, put in horizontal boards. Let concrete set. Comeback tomorrow at add all of your vertical slats

Nothing that fancy, just a field fence. 300+ t-posts and a few corner posts.

I still can't believe I saw that clip back in like 2006.

And then in 2017 or some chit I started watching Ari Shaffir podcasts not knowing it was the same guy.

I've listened to every single Skeptic Tank podcast there is, as I like him better than even JRE. Sad that he stopped making them (after buying a huge studio, too, wtf)

That makes sense, I was thinking more for a residential fence with not that many posts. I’d hire that chit out too
