I’m coming to the end of my 10 days in Thailand, so I thought I’d drop an update. I was going to update the other thread, but decided a fresh thread was needed.

So we stayed in Bangkok to begin with, where we mixed it up by doing some cultural stuff (bridge over the River Kwai and Emerald Buddha Temple) during the days, then going to the top rated rooftop bars and clubs at night.

We went to a club called Space Plus, which is ranked number 66 in DJ Mag top 100 clubs on the 3rd night as they had an event. We paid the equivalent of £10 and got unlimited drinks all night, understandably we got pretty drunk.



I said before that I’m not really attracted to Asian’s, however, I now have to admit, there’s some fine ass Asian’s.
In this club, we decided to wander near some VIP tables, one of which we got pulled on to. I started chatting to one of the girls on there, don’t really know what I said, but I ended up back at hers and smashed.




While at the club, my friend decided to get a video of the DJ, she was some hot 28 year old Russian. He tagged her in his Insta story, she followed him back and they started chatting, turns out she was coming down to Phuket the same time as us.

Next we flew from Bangkok down to Phuket.
We were staying right by Patong Beach, which is the main nightlife/tourist area in Phuket. I’ll be honest, it was a bit of a dive and I didn’t really enjoy it, we just got constantly pestered by hookers and other Thai women for chit. There was an event on at a club called Illuzion, which is ranked number 13 in the world, the DJ who played at Space was going as her DJ friend was playing as support to the main DJ Claptone, so she managed to get us a VIP table with 2 bottles on it for free.





At 4.30am once the event had done, there was an after party in the room behind the stage for everyone in VIP. Again, I was pretty rekt, but I started talking to another Thai girl. At this point I’ve no idea where my mate went, I saw him speaking to some girl, but I was too occupied myself to see where he’d gone. I messaged him to ask if he’s back at the hotel because I wanted to bring this girl back to smash (we were sharing a room). He didn’t reply so I thought fuk it, I’ll take her back and hope he’s not there. Get back and he’s sat upright next to the toilet, asleep. I closed the bathroom door and smashed the girl, immediately after, I told her she had to go because I needed to ‘look after my mate,’ which she was pretty pissed about lol.

I’d heard about how wary you have to be with food etc in and around Phuket, so we made sure to only eat at highly rated or nice looking restaurants and none of the street food vendors, however, I still managed to get gastroenteritis/food poisoning which had me chitting about 50 times in 48 hours, the first day I slept about 18 hours in total, thankfully I recovered relatively quickly.

Next, we went to the Phi Phi Islands, the crowning jewel of the trip by a mile. What a place, exactly my sort of vibe, chilling during the day, bit of hiking in the evening and then beach parties at night.

We did the tourist thing for one of the days and did a full day boat tour of the different Islands that make up Koh Phi Phi (Maya bay, Bamboo Island, Monkey Island etc).















Last night while I was at one of the beach bars, I got talking to a Polish Irish girl, we hit it off so well, for some stupid fuking reason, a lot of the hotels have a ‘no sex’ policy and they have people that sit at the entrances to make sure you’re not bringing anyone back who’s not in your room, so basically I got cockblocked by logistics.
She’s heading back to Ireland in 2 weeks so I’m going to link up with her again and maybe go over to Dublin.



As of now I’m just heading to Phuket airport where I’m flying back to Bangkok for 2 more nights. One of my mates who is Thai who moved out here in November is meeting up with us in Bangkok tomorrow so it should be a decent end to the trip

All of the young guys on Bumble were staying in Patong beach but I was north of the airport. I'm glad as I heard it was annoying. I was in a remote place where no one was on the beach and it was quiet, but the Bumble Euro guys were annoyed that they'd have to take a cab for an hour to see me.

One 30 year old guy from Belgium took a cab to see me but then he checked into a room in my hotel? I was like WTF are you doing. He was very intelligent so we had drinks by the pool and amazing conversations, but then he talked about how he worshipped Andrew Tate. I thought he was a Miscer! He talked about Andrew Tate becoming Muslim after we went to his room but I told him I was Christian, so then he got pissed at me and dodged me until he left the next morning. I was annoyed that I had to eat dinner alone.

I loved the Phi Phi islands boat trip, although we went snorkeling and I would have preferred diving. I also went to see James Bond island and sightseeing around old Phuket with 2 other female solo travelers. Those islands are BEYOND amazing. I just wish there were fewer tourists.

Sucks about the gastro. When my wife and I went, we stuck to the street food and where locals eat. Not one problem for either of us over 2 weeks. If you ate raw salad, that's the most common source.
