It was probably around 8-9 year ago now. Back when a younger, slightly less jaded MiscerLonely still had a slim glimmer of hope that he’d meet a girl to date. So like all blue pilled betas I would google search and find myself on reddit reading generic threads of how to meet women or how to talk to women filled with the useless generic advice of go to the supermarket or go to a park.

I read about meet ups and so I did just that. I signed up for a meet up. I also read about trivia nights so I found a trivia night on a meet up. It was a singles event that was set up were you would be allocated a group and your small group of 5 would be a team for range of quizzes and trivia at a bar.

I thought sweet, three birds-one stone. I’ve read meet ups are a good way to meet friends/girls and I’ve read bars are a good way to meet friends/girls and I’ve read trivia is a good way to meet friends/girls.

I rocked up to the bar at the time and showed my meet up confirmation to the host. The host (random 40yo fat lady - fuk her Johnnydeep crew!!) gave me a look as if I just killed her whole family or something. She then said oh yes you’re on team number #X and said that no one else from my team had arrived. I could see people already chatting in their teams. After waiting around everyone else’s team was there (3 teams of 15 + my team of meant to be 5= totalling 20 meet up members)….not one of them showed.

Times passes and the trivia starts and the host starts playing as the other 3 teams / 15 guests all awkwardly make small talk that I can overhear and drink while MiscerLonely…at his little table alone…sitting all lonely.

I recalled people saying you need to take initiative and be alpha so I pulled up a seat to another group and tried to join in, which they did let me but it was obvious that they were all (3 guys and 2 girls) talking amongst each other. The 2 girls I find out ended up being friends (both single) and the guys (3 single randoms that just met) just ended up making small talk with each other while drinking and playing the games.

I was that dumb and naive to think I could meet people and make friends at a meet up.

I literally picked the optimal meet up event according to incels (redditors/miscers) online that give other incels (redditors/miscers) advice of where is the best place to meet people.

Ended up being an awkward night for me and while everyone seemed to be cordial and get along it was just groups of girls and single guys making small talk. I highly doubt anyone (that already didn’t know each other beforehand) ever met again.

I should’ve known, if only I had known that you’re not going to meet a girl to date at a meet up trivia night at a bar. I should’ve gone to the zoo and drank Jack Daniel’s with the gorillas!!!!

try the pub. Might not be the best of friends but theres some
pubs with a propr pool table. or actual pool halls too

bunch of ugly dudes playing pool in my nearby pub. i often just grab a drive by beer there & sit with those blokes & watch the game
if i feel good i might ask to go against the winner.

and you know if youre with those pool guys & you spot some birds go chat them up, if it wont work out just go back to the pool brahs

when i solo a bar my safeplace is the pool table. theres always somebody you might just feel like a dork hanging out with them because therye usually degens
but i much rather chat with them than the bartender
