Do any of you use certificates of deposits?

Seems like a poverty way to make a little interest. I have a risk tolerance and it just doesn’t seem aggressive to tickle me.

However, if you have a reason to get one, please share.

Id go for them but T-bills are slightly better yield than the CDs I'm seeing. To be honest I'm not sure what the differences are between the two as far as taxes go. You may have to pay federal income tax on CDs. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong

You pay federal income tax on both. No state or local (LOL) income tax on T-bills.
