I was just listening to Michael Smerconish earlier discussing this case. He was saying it was interesting SCOTUS took so long to decide whether to hear the immunity arguments. If they kicked it back to the lower courts, Trump would certainly be tried before November. Now that they’re taking it up, even if they rule against him (likely) no chance Chutkin gets to set a trial date by the election.

A new way of calling someone a retard. It refers to the average IQ in ****li of 68, which falls well below the cut off to be considered legally mentally retarded. Generally, a ****li 68 will not only exhibit many of the same signs of low IQ as someone you would refer to as a SJW, as well as be highly likely to vote liberal, follow Greta Thunbergs Twitter account and categorize themselves as "Non-binary". ****li 68's are normally weak beta males, and morbidly obese females with neon colored hair.
"Why are Rebecca and Muhammad on that balcony flinging their own feces at each other?"
"Oh, they're both ****li 68's."

In my opinion, the case is fairly simple. Does the president have immunity in certain circumstances? The obvious answer is yes, in the same way that soldiers do. As the commander in chief, POTUS must have at least the same level of immunity as military members acting under orders.
There should be no argument about whether POTUShasimmunity, there should only be an argument aboutwhenthey have immunity.
Nobody wants to have that argument, as if you define exactly when a president does and does not have immunity, you may find that past presidents have committed many acts that fall outside of that immunity.
Even though people don't want to have that argument, it's one that needs to be had. The only problem, for both sides, is that it may result in a ruling that states Bush, Obama and others committed criminal acts that were not covered by immunity.
On a side note, I believe that was the intention of impeachment. That blanket immunity exists, but if their behaviour stepped outside of what the vast majority found to be acceptable, impeachment would follow and then criminal charges if successfully impeached. Impeachment would strip them of immunity for the crimes that they were impeached for.
That is howI, at least, would have designed it to work.

That bizarre scenario has nothing to do with the actual case as presented to the Supreme Court, but why start caring about Facts now?

I notice no one [Including you] can actually argue what Trump is trying a POTUS is privileged to have. Which is made up nonsense anyways. Especially since the case has little to do with official presidential business and was instead trying to force the states to override the votes of Americans in order to keep his fat ass in office.
