Bought a cheap $70 Motorola phone about 5 years ago
The phone started lagging hard and the battery wasn't holding a charge so well anymore.
Had a newish phone I bought a couple years ago as a backup, switched to that.
It's another Motorola but it has some MotoMod of a battery backup.







New phone, with the additional battery has the same battery life as my previous phone with just the proprietary battery
Phone came with a rapid charger so I have to use an old charger unless I want the battery to crap out even faster
Try to download all my old apps, everything has ads now.
Autocorrect on this phone is lame. Type in "well" and it ALWAYS corrects to "we'll" as if well is never a word no matter how many times I insist
Mistype other words and it doesn't autocorrect
Touchscreen keeps wanting to scroll up when I swipe left or right. My swipe has to be 100% perpendicular across the screen or it wants to scroll up/down.
The speaker on this new phone is real ****. Any audio that comes through sounds distorted compared to my previous phone.

Is it going to be like this from now on? Are new phone deliberately **** or did I just dun goof and get a real ****ty phone?

Sucks that 5 year old aftermarket Motorola phones are the only ones in the market.

From the sound of things, the phone market overall is either stagnating or getting ****tier. I've read a lot of newer phones won't even let you replace the battery. Newer phones aren't advancing in features and utility like they should be, is my point.

Not just with phones but a lot of cars as well. 10 year old cars run better than a lot of new **** on the roads.

It's like you're deliberately missing the point.Lol that's another one. My brother got an iPhone for free and he says it's not so great. They got some gay gimmicky **** where you can record short gifs or some **** with the phone. Brb $900 gif recording machine.

New Motorolas are ass

If you want a quality new phone you pretty much have to go with iPhone or a high tier Samsung

Also if your “newer” phone is a couple years old it’s already heavily outdated. I think you might like the Pixel if you like Motorola

Isn't Motorola owned by Google now? Since they're both owned by Google, and Android is Google, you'd think Motorola would be decent, at least.

Yeah I'll check out the Pixel when this phone dies, which may be soon anyways. Just lol.....
