Heroes of Might and Magic 3, why no proper successor?

Ubisoft owns the right to this absolutely eternal game.

Why dafuq won't they try and do a proper remake or make a proper successor. HOMM3 is still heavily played to this day

theres heroes games from 4 up to 7 and some hd edition that last i heard nobody plays and people stick to the community hd mod

nobody cares about no successors, og game is just too good

2 got the best music and my first foray into HOMM(CHRISTMAS gift from parents). 3 is just the best. 4 was so so. 5 was ok. Did not play succeeding ones.

first and second were my favorites.havent played in years.i had the first one on disk back in the 90s. where you guys playing these games?

I remember 4 had this very bizarre artstyle and look to it and 5 was good

I don't count 6 and 7 since absolutely nobody knew they existed
