Dune 2 released today

I havent gone to movie theaters in about 7-8 years though. I don't know when it'll come out on streaming

Adam Driver is tall and athletic looking, unlike this dude. But I think they're trying to be faithful to the book. The main character in Dune is supposed to look young, small, and weak

yeah they didn't spent too much time on the home planet in the movie. its why books are always better, regardless of how good the movie version is. they simply can't fit everything into a couple hours.

My main complaint with the movie is they didn't spend enough time explaining the main damn theme of the story, which is the Bene Gesserit and their breeding program, or how spice powers intergalactic travel, how all of that is related, etc...I mean each of those 2 things are mentioned once in like a 10 second voice over narration.

I liked it though.
