Does it matter if you see it in imax or standard screen? I heard in imax you could see more of the viewing angles or something

Just watched it in IMAX.
What a great movie. Can't wait to watch it back.
Dune will go down as the best trilogy since LOTR.
Fully expecting the 3rd to be a ROTK type EPIC.

I appreciate well thought out subtle trolling.

It's cray cray you made this thread. I was trying to watch the first one from 2021 before I moved a few days ago. As I was loading the last of my things before I left for good I turned off Dune then left. Just got into a hotel room for the night and turned on the tv and it's on TNT which is playing Dune right now and I caught it right where I left off. Seems like good energy. Will check out 2 when it's out of theaters.

Couldn't really get into the first one, people were saying I needed to watch the one from the 80's...that lasted about 20 min before I switched off. Maybe I'll give another shot.

Either way this movie begs to be watched in the larger screen formats. We have a Cinemark XD nearby and movies of this scale alway shine. Please do yourselves a favor bros and don’t try to wait for a torrent. Your sound system and immersion at home can’t compete.

Absolutely insane movie to see in imax. That first worm ride was nuts. Probably a lock for best movie of 2024.

It is the highest rated movie on IMDB right now apparently. I enjoyed the first one and the director has some solid films so pretty hyped to see this.

I like the director but I watched the first one at home and thought it was boring, bad acting, and stupid.
I think watching in the theatre probably would have been better

Book readers also understand it's also b/c of the slow shields they don't employ many laser or beam weapons, either.
Movie is visually impressive but don't sleep on the sound. See it in IMAX to get blown away by the bass as much as the visuals.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
