How do you cope with hating your fuking job?

You don’t like what you do, you don’t care for any of your coworkers. You just go to work and suffer for 8 hours until you get to go home and do it again the next day. Leaving or finding a new job isn’t immediately possible, either.

It’s Sunday night and that pre-Monday morning anger is hitting again.

If ur a man between 18-35 and don't have any responsibilities besides putting food in ur mouth and a roof over ur head, quit that soul sucking job immediately and make shiet happen on your own terms instead of being a whiney biatch.

Gotta find a way out of it. The job market is pretty ass right now so leaving a job probably isn't the best choice.

All you can do is tough it out while finding ways to mitigate your stress. Companies are still hiring, but it will slow down by the end up summer.

Just make sure you don't take a job to get out of a bad situation and end up somewhere worse.

Started my own business because I hated my last job so much that I just could not bare it any longer. The first year, it was very difficult, and my wife carried us, second year I was making about 2k more a month than my last job, 3rd, double.

Find a way out, start your own thing, do it part time or weekends if you must, but don't stay in a job you hate, life is too short, don't waste half of it doing something you hate.

What advice would you give to a person who doesn't have the financial support of a significant other to allow them to take on the financial risk that comes with starting a business?

Find those in the same industry, ask to work for them while they train you, do it part time and scale back your hours at your current job. Work that new business on your off hours/days, ask to switch up hours if possible at your current employer.

If you “hate” your job, you need to start looking for a new job NOW. It’s seriously toxic to be going into a job you hate day after day, month after month.

What’s most realistic is finding a job you don’t hate but probably don’t love either. A job that you “don’t mind” doing most of the time, and chit maybe even enjoy it on the odd occasion. Every job has its **** days but as long as they are mostly few and far between, that’s okay.

Once you’ve got a job you don’t mind, the next step might be to get a job you really like, but on the whole I think such jobs are VERY hard to find.

Finally scaled down to two, then down to one, and got laid off lol. I think your idea of starting a business is correct, maybe not even a business but something that you can sell or monetize with the ability to be your own boss somewhat, and I think you also made that point too. So yeah, I suppose you really have to break yourself out here. It's just that at some point in time, it wasn't like this. Job hopping definitely isn't as viable right now.

Anyway, I work a side gig myself and have an uncounted drawer of cash tips. I'm gonna count it up and open a separate bank account. I'll figure out what to do from there I guess, I plan to make it an account that takes deposits for at least a year.

But yeah, you did the work. That's respectable.

I use to view my work as working for the company and it seemed the better I performed, the less I felt I was being rewarded. Would get frustrated and just not even want to do my work much less go the "above and beyond" that so many companies ask of you. Just Working my ass off and so little to show for it.

One day a friend pulled me aside and said "you are going about it all wrong, you think you are working for that company or this person, but you aren't, you are working for God, because He is the one that placed you there, and it is He that will reward you. If you dedicate your work, your business to the Lord, He will bless it."

Everything changed after that, I could write a book, but everything my friend told me was true. Sometimes my wife has to remind me of that truth, but I promise you, when you walk with God, work as though your work is dedicated to Him, your life will change. Srs.

I was in this situation for about 7 years and I eventually couldn't stand it anymore. I went back to school for something I wanted to do and have been pretty happy with the new career. Just make a decision on what you want to do and come up with a plan to make it happen. I wouldn't quit without a backup but you can't live in misery over a job for the next 30 years.

I have no fuking idea bro.

It’s the bane of my existence.

People tell me I should be grateful to be employed and, while I’m grateful for an income, I feel nothing but resentment about the actual hamster wheel of 9–5 wage slavery I’m trapped on. For the minuscule monetary gain it’s provided, this job has stolen so much from me spiritually. I’m a shell of my former self and I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

What’s crazy is my life is pretty fuking decent otherwise. If only I had the time and mental capacity to enjoy it…

Yea it's hell out there right now, I understand that completely, I had a feeling a few years ago things were going to get very bad and it was one of the many reasons I wanted to be independent and not beholden to a company/anyone else. Just focus on what you want to attain and tell yourself it is going to happen, and you'll make the sacrifices you need to. Doors will start to open.

In all honesty, I know you aren't big on the whole Jesus thing, but I'm telling you I could not have done any of it or have the life I have now without Him. Maybe others could, and have far more, but I couldn't. I don't use Jesus as a crutch, I use Him to straight carry me. srs

Maybe. I wouldn’t want to be industrious without smarts, cos that is how you get exploited. But industrious coupled with intelligence is THE winning formula in the western world as far as I can tell.

As for blockchain I think I have £500 worth of chainlink on some account on some platform somewhere that I purchased too late in the game.

I try to focus on the fact that I only go there to make money, not friends. I also try to leave my brain in my car and keep it there until the end of each day. Not sure I could cope if I looked at it any other way.

I know the feeling network and find a mentor with irl success to show for it. Don't listen to these losers they are all unemployed or working minimum wage jobs with no education.
