Is America transitioning into a dictatorship? srs I am clueless about politics
Seems like we the people have no rights and are being squeezed into oblivion. Any politician, corporation and government entity can bully us plus they act as they please with no consideration to what the citizens want.
No one asked me if I would like millions of illegals to enter our country and assault our people. Or if the taxes I paid should be sent over to Ukraine and Israel.
Of if the local government wants to enforce some stupid regulation on one of my properties, I have to abide plus foot the bill despite it not making sense only because some weak 40k a year employee who doesn't even own a single square foot of property wants to justify their existence.

All forms of government eventually transition back to our base state of government which is some form of Feudalism or modern Fascism. Perhaps not Ironically most peasants crave being peasants. We would still be Feudalist now if the Aristocra hadn't intentionally blocked off the merchant class (high IQ non-inbred class) from participating in government.
Merchants (Businesses/corporations) and Nobility (Political Class) are already working together to frame laws pretty much the world over. Even former Communist countries like China have switched over to what amounts to Fascism. The corporations over there work hand in hand with the government and Billionaires are allowed to exist as long as they tow the party line. I would say China mirrors Nazi Germany much more than it does the Soviet Union at this point. I mean a homogenous nationalist country with high levels of employment that allows profiteers to get rich selling to others as long as they do what the government says, while also committing a genocide against an ethnically different group of people? Where have I seen that before.
In the US we are a corporatist country, which lets face it is just a small amount of powerful individuals telling us what to do, how to think, and what to buy. The government has less power than the corporations only in the instance that the corps set the party line and the government tows it and uses their military might to enforce it. To the average person, its basically the same difference.

We are not heading for a traditional dictatorship of one person in charge, although they would like you to think that in order to scare you to supporting whichever party “they” represents.
But the interests and rights of individual citizens will not be taken into consideration. In fact these interests and rights will continue to be actively undermined in the interests of the various elites who are struggling back and forth over control of the various branches they are interested in controlling.
Some parts of the govt are completely captured and there is no fuss made because the elites do not need to fight over it, their interests are completely aligned. Such as the SEC.
Probably the worst branch of our govt regulators, they are actively hostile towards small investors and sticklers for every little thing possible. While they let slide huge corruption and illegal activity with fines less than a hedgefund or investment bank made due to their illegal activity.
But for the individual, if you fuk something up small the fines and restrictions are disproportionate.
Other branches have several donor groups actively competing and vying with each other due to conflicts of interests amongst the elites.
But yes we aren’t heading anywhere good for individual liberty and freedom.

That said, Im not one to split hairs and argue the nuances/differences of leftism/marxism/communism etc only because all roads lead to the same destination, but I would argue we are moving more towards an authoritarian rule, only because we now have a majority of the population who are willingly submitting to State control/giving up individual freedoms(which is even scarier) than a totalitarian system, who's subjects instead are forced to comply.

We're currently an Oligarchy, but it certainly looks like we're transitioning to a dictatorship.
The next step will be the elimination of elections, we'll move to a system where officials are appointed by the elites.
They'll use the excuse of "oh, elections are too messy and too divisive, we'll let the experts appoint public officials."

Seems like we're an oligarchy, where special interests and corporations with money maintain quite a bit of control. Then the executive branch answers to the agencies where un-elected "leaders" that have been at the helm for 20-40 years, make all the geopolitical decisions and domestic decisions that impact the population.

Dictatorship is 1/2 of the people forcing the other half to do something they don't want to do. In other words, we are already a dictatorship.
Every time in history that there is a dictatorship, revolution etc., the people living through it do not realize it has happened until it is already over where things have escalated really badly.
For example, the government coerced, influenced, and paid social media to censor speech, in order to change the outcome of an election. That is what a dictatorship does. The result of that, was, obviously a dictator. That is the reason a regime censor speech; it's to put a dictator in place. They did the same thing under Lennon, Stalin, Hitler...
Biden gave the go ahead and encouragement to use eugenics on children, although it started under Obama, he did it behind-the-scenes.
They are imprisoning political opposition, fabricating crimes as dictatorship.
The confusing thing is how dictatorship work. An extremist regime are individuals with in the society who cave to pressure, collectivism, and exploit for personal gains. When no one is there to stop you, you have free rain to do whatever you want. so it's not just the leader, it is the millions of individuals who go along with it. For example, Hitler, the first professional groups to join the Nazi party were the medical doctors and the lawyers. It was extremely lucrative, and an assessment by psychologist, determined it was grandiose narcissism. When you give someone power, corrupt them. Today, it gives surgeons a sense of power, and is extremely lucrative to go along with the regime. Anyone who does not go along with it, has been threatened by the board of medicine, threatens to have their license stripped from them as we have already seen and experienced...
I can go on and on, but the only way to identify a dictatorship in the moment, is to have a vast knowledge of the history of the inner workings of a dictatorship and its regime. Road to surf them, the Gulag archipelago, ordinary men, Capitalism and freedom… All really great books to read that give you insight of what a dictatorship looks like.
Schools have done a really horrible job at teaching students what a dictatorship looks like, and it is for the simple fact that they don't want you to know. This way, they can safely have their revolution and created dictatorship without people being knowledgeable on the subject
Note; I used to speak to text, and will edit this when I get the chance. It is very likely there are several mistakes that I need to correct.

One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.
