At 29 years old, I have finally changed my stance on guns.

After seeing that geek cop get slashed in the neck

Haiti releasing prisoners

Called 911 couple years ago cuz some geek was banging on my window. They didn't show up until 2 hours later.

Only guns can solve these issues

Only guns CAN indeed solve rampant crime, the question is, do you want guns exclusively in the hands of the state or do you want to assume some responsibility for your safety and protect your family, life and property like a free individual?

I had a change of mind on guns too in the past. When I was younger I didn't care for guns. Then as i grew older, saw crime become worse, realized police can only do so much, I became more open to gun ownership. I guess I'm still not entirely a gun person, but am glad to own a gun for protection purposes.

Yup, and that's in a well staffed city. Our one and only mass shooter situation in my area had our response time at 4 minutes, and that's with driving 100+ mph. Honestly a miracle no one crashed getting up there. A CCW holder would've ended the threat immediately.

Agreed, why would anyone live in a state that does not recognize constitutional carry.

I do have my Idaho Enhanced Permit though. Took a 8 hour class. They go over a lot of the legalities in my state at the time and they make you shoot 100 rounds through your gun. It was actually extremely educational on the laws and I'm glad I took it.

The main reason I took it, I'm good to CCW in every state west of the Mississippi except Cali. I even got the elusive Oregon permitI think in total I can carry in 37 states. The other 13 states I don't care to visit anyway so no love lost. I have interest in gun free states let alone gun free zones.
