Do you brahs have a safe in your house or bedroom? Are they worth it?
If so, can you recommend some? Kinda want a small one for my room or office but then I feel like it'll just be a target in the event of break in...
Or should I just dig a hole under my carpet or tile somewhere in my house for valuables?

Lag it to the floor in a closet. You can cut into any safe (unless you get a real one for like 8500 bucks) but it will stop the average dinger and protect in a fire for however long it's rated for. It is not hard to lag stuff to the concrete

If your house gets robbed ur stupid safe will get robbed too. Whether they can open it or not it's still as good as gone.

The main reason for a safe is to protect the stuff from fire damage if the place ever went up in flames, hence you need a safe designed for that. Burglars would just steal the safe too unless it's bolted to the ground, preferably a concrete floor in a basement with a big safe that would be a huge pita to carry out even if they broke the bolts.
Otherwise, you're better off keeping the stuff hidden in less obvious, more cryptic places within the home like you mentioned. Or better yet, move to a good neighboorhood where chit like home invasions are very uncommon.

You'd be better off putting in good locks, cameras, and door alarms that go off if an introduer breaks in. Srs

i have several. most safes are just glorified fireproof boxes. I store my guns, silver, personal effects like pictures, cash, etc... in them
if you have anything really important, a safe deposit box is a better idea.

I have a cannon brand safe for my guns and ammo. I have it tucked away in a closet where it'd be difficult to pry on to get in to. Will it prevent an expert safe cracker or a guy with cutting tools? No, but it'll prevent most smash and grab guys from getting it.

A quality safe is a lot more expensive than most people think. But worth it to me to keep my bug out cash, physical gold, guns, ammo and crypto wallets along with important docs
Bought for of course theft but more important.....fire.

I have 3.
Take the safe and bolt it to both the wall and the floor, and it won't be going anywhere.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Brad Pitt was correct in Fight Club.

With a simple circular saw you can cut into floor standing safes in under 5 mins.

On the rare occasions where I have tripped an alert to the police, they have been there in 2-4 minutes.
My house is gated....has cameras surrounding and I always practice situational awareness. Being that I have a few cars that on more than 1 occasion someone tried to follow me home for (more to see what kind of house i lived in and not to rob me) if I saw anyone that was trailing me in from the highway I typically circle around until nobody is behind me.
If they broke into my house while I was there I would hit my panic button, open the safe and allow them to take what they want. I know the cops would be there within a few minutes.
