How many times is "Normal" to piss in between sleeping? (SRS)

Lately it's been worse and I'll wake up for the biggest elephant piss and think , maybe my sleep is almost over.. but i'll look at my phone and it's only 2 hours after I went to sleep.

So i'll go back to sleep and repeat... 2-3 more times before I wake up.. and they are urgent and not short

is this normal?

I even cut out drinking any fluids 3-4 hours before sleeping.

during the day I don't even need to go much. What do? srs

had a blood/urine test recently and according to the results.. it doesnt APPEAR that I have diabetes or anything. Though I had high bilirubin. Drs didnt call so I assume its not a big deal?

Somethings up, Huberman said something along the lines of 1 wake up and 1 piss per night is allowed, anything more is an issue.

As a kid I remember waking up in the morning and not even needing to piss

Now it would be extremely rare to wake up not immediately needing to take a piss

But I don't usually wake up thru the night to use the washroom

Welcome to getting old.

You can fix this however. Your circadian rhythms are not synced anymore.

I've got that fuking middle of the night pee to one hour before my usual wake up time.

This is about what happens to me. I have to take a huge elephant piss about 1.5 - 2 hours before I actually want to wake up and stay up. Wish it would happen 2 hours earlier in the night.

Can't remember the last time I woke up to pee. I sleep like a log, more so when I'm drinking

It’s not normal. You dont do that in the daytime right?

Get your vitamin D levels checked. A D deficiency can cause this. I had the same issue and i tested low in D. Ive been taking 30,000iu per day for a few months now and now the problem is gone

Depends on how much water/etc. you drink. If I drink a good amount water within a couple hours of going to bed, I will definitely need to take a piss at some point during the night. I can usually hold out all night if I don't drink much for hours before going to sleep.

I'd be really worried if I needed to piss 3 - 4x a night like OP unless I drank a chit ton of water/gatorade right before bed

I drink a protein shake and an additional small glass of water right before bed. I pee, and then pass out.

Don’t ever get up to pee until I wake up in the morning.

The only exception I have to this is if I drank alcohol.

Usually 3 times. During the day, it's like once every hour or two.

On one hand, this is worrisome from a kidney perspective. On the other hand, under pissing is definitely a bad thing too because not drinking enough water.

Damn, never knew this was an issue. I've always woken up 1 or 2 times to pee a night my entire life.

I usually piss once maybe twice. But I drink a lot of caffeine. Sometimes I’ll have too much and it makes me piss every hour during the day. Sometimes I don’t piss at all but I’ll wake up having to pee really bad like an hour or two before I want to get up.

If I drank that night all bets are off. Probably wake up 3 times to pee from the liquor and whatever mixer I had.

Unless I drink an especially large amount of water before bed, I usually up to piss 0-1 time per night. That's how it's been as long as I can remember. Keep in mind people have different sized bladders so normal for one person may be excessive or infrequent for someone else. Fot me, I'd see a doctor if I started getting up more than once a night unless there was a direct corallation to increased fluid intake before bed.

I drink a good amount of water before bed but I only need to pee once a night. Something is obviously not right if you are going three times a night. Any changes with your sodium intake?

And when I do piss it is a buckets worth. One time I was half asleep and didn't realize I was pissing in my trash can. Lol.

Kidney or prostate issues? Sometimes I wake up at like 5am to piss and then go back to sleep for a couple hours. but usually don't piss at all

Usually 3 times on a weeknight. Probably at almost the exact same time give or take a few minutes. I purposely don't look at the time though.
