I just think it's hilarious she, and women like her, have their thongs in a twist over the patriarchy, and every tradition women are a part of is oppressive and demeaning to women. Weddings, the history of the tradition, the symbolism of it all, is supposed to be "problematic" for them. It removes her autonomy and her identity as a woman, or some garbage.

But then they throw a wedding-themed birthday party cuz it's fun!
