Why is it only massive ph@gots on reddit?

There's ph@gots on here but it's balanced with more regular bros


Whereas reddit is 99.99% ph@gots

Do regular bros check in, can't handle it and just check out?

Or is the actual population just ph@gots and reddit reflects that

As others have said, they ban any wrong think.

I was permabanned from the whole site for saying violent criminals should receive capital punishment. Did manage to get it overturned mind.

I was permed from publicfreakouts for saying "i thought this was the one they got hit, leaving disappointed" in response to some feral youths playing chicken on their bikes with cars. And permed from two X chromosome in 5 mins for saying abortion is horrible, but should be legal and women should take a bit more responsibility. Got so much abuse then was banned for abuse lmao.

It's a fuking joke of a site. Some subs are okay though.

I have a reddit account, because some of their subreddits are useful, knowledgeable.

Made a huge mistake joining the Arsenal FC one though...thought the people there would be friendly, and enjoy a bit of banter it was fun at first, but I got downvoted 33 times for criticizing, and saying that Nketiah on Arsenal is a trash player lol I mean it's true so why doesn't he start.

Surprised I didn't get banned, but I got messages saying "How can you call yourself an Arsenal fan that is vile!."

I was thinking so you can't criticize here? Lol ok I'll give him a pat on the back next time he misses like 5 chances in a game. It will be all ok!

I think by now one of the unwritten rules of plebbit is you have to be effeminate if not outright gay in order to post there. I think they have also been doing something lately to stop new users from posting, where you have to accumulate a certain amount of upvote points in order to post in a lot of subreddits.

However it should be noted a lot of the time when I do an internet search for a particular topic like I'm having an issue with my new phone or whether or not a certain credit card is a good choice, a bunch of reddit threads from 2019 pop up to answer my question.

I actually recently made a Reddit account to post in some pretty niche communities. Just likeminded folks sharing their passion for particular endeavours. I've yet to come across any nincompoops. Is there a general reddit like the misc? Like a free for all wild west kind of page where anyone can share their braindead verbally diarrhetic drivel? Kind of like here.

Nope. That's not how reddit works. Reddit is just literal millions of subreddits that you can post on/view. There is no catch-all page like the misc, and even if there was, the traffic would be so insane that it'd be impossible to keep up with it at all.

You're enjoying your reddit posting experience specifically because you have chosen to stick to pretty niche topics, by your own wording. Which is absolutely the way to do it, it's a smart move. If you get into anything even remotely political, your ass is grass there unless you're a liberal or keep your mouth shut. And I mean evenremotelypoltical, in the most loosey goosey sense you can think of.

This is because Reddit is planning to IPO and take the company public so they paid Google to alter their algorithm in order to boost Reddit to the top of searchers.

That way they can claim much higher page views, gain some more users, a just more interaction in general to boost their value for the IPO. Srs
