Kurb Kobain was trans

He used to wear dresses a lot and said he identified more with the feminine than the masculine. If he was still alive today he probably would have transitioned by now.

It is documented that his father thought he was a pussy because he was too feminine. This was a major detriment to his mental health. Apparently he had a bad relationship with both parents.

No, he was just one of the last, real anti establishment rock stars. He openly said that he did things like wearing dresses simply to piss off the machine. Now all the musicians are simply puppets for the current thing.

I get the point, but I think that he didn't like the fame once he got it and would rather have been a band that made just enough to live halfway comfortably and not have to have another job. He didn't live long after in Utero beat MJ. The band could have been bigger while he was alive, but he was pretty recluse and antisocial compared to many of the other rock bands. A great example is the MTV unplugged. Most bands played acoustic versions of their hits, as that was what the labels wanted. But he wanted to play covers of little known acts that inspired him, to help elevate their popularity. Performers such as Lead Belly, The Vaselines, and Meat Puppets greatly benefited from this performance and it ended up being a huge success, but the label etc. didn't want this as they thought that unknown songs wouldn't make as much money as say a Smells Like Teen Spirit acoustic version would have.
