No joke, the entire Hollywood and Academy Awards scene seems to be very boomer centric these days. Like they are the only people who still seem to give a chit about what they're doing today, trying to keep up with it. Everyone else doesn't give a phuck.

The movie scene is in dire need of a revolution like they had in the 70's. We're basically in the same sort of situation Hollywood was in during the 60's, when they were in the era of the big massive production movies. 70's is when small budgets and new creators took off, and revolutionized everything. Thing is, all the standout names from then got really big and now they're back to the massive productions.

Alot of ppl are starting to realize that it's just a show for elites to pat themselves on the back, and ask "Omg how much did you pay for that dress/suit to wear on the red carpet?!"

Plus they always start involving politics out of nowhere. Sure they're some great actors, and actresses on stage, but I'm on Youtube right now, and just saw Jimmy Kimmel was the host lol seems no one wants to host it anymore, and also Lmao at having Jon Cena there...def desperate for viewership.

After that every slavery movie or Black power movie wins an acadamy award.

Even the average horror movie Get Out won best film. Why? The plot was about cuck whites wanting to Get fuked by Blacks.

I watched Dune 2 the other day, and it was a total waste of time and money. The movie was just boring, slow, and felt like an ISIS recruitment video. I think the last really cool movie I saw was Super Mario Bros, and I streamed it lol.

a show that has been losing any fckn relevance it once had year on year...at least the best film actually won the main chit this year

Even the ph@gs dont watch that chit anymore. Who gives a fuk about hollyweird. In the 90s it might have been cool, when the stars had personality and talent. And movies were legit art, not just rehashed degenerate trash. Now they're just a bunch of puppets with a joos hand up their ass. AI will replace them soon enough, and look better doing it.

I was with the gf last night and we watched about 2 hours.
The issue is that other than Oppenheimer, we were like what are these movies, when did they come out, and where( which app) can you watch them on?
Finding the titles is like chasing a chicken, the way movies are now distributed.
