Why would you intentionally up your caffeine intake to 1,000mg?

I just try to limit my caffeine intake to 300mg in the morning for a good chit and fuel to wakeup and workout. If I need to, I'll take a 80-100mg hit at work before lunch to finish the day. Typically more caffeine after that doesn't seem to do much for me, then again, if I developed a tolerance past 500mg a day, I'd start cutting down.

Yea, the difference would be now you're totally addicted, need it daily to just have a personality & not get headaches, Probably feel tired all the time and groggy without at least 300-500 and are potentially risking heart health.

If you're good on 100-200mg/day.....why are you even asking about moving up to 1000mg?

If 100-200mg/day ain't doing it for you anymore, the correct answer would be to drop it for 1-2 weeks then start back up with 50-100mg/day......dont just keep increasing to make you feel something again.

In all honesty (from what I know and IMHO) Caffeine is a supplement that should be cycled to continue getting the benefits from it. I found it works best for me when I dont use it daily, dont drink coffee out of habit, dont take pre-workout every time you hit the gym. If you constantly need caffeine to "wake up" or "have the energy" to hit the gym....that's either a mental block or your body trying to tell you something. I dropped preworkout completely about 4 years ago and while it sucked for a couple weeks...I now see no difference in my workouts and have the freedom to workout at whatever time fits my schedule, not just when I can take caffeine and still be able to sleep.

There's just no point

200mg first thing in the morning before gym

and MAYBE a coffee mid day, worse case scenario an energy drink with 160-200mg tops and definetely before 1pm
