Never even thought about it after the couple dozen times I went shooting until recently when I went to eat lunch with my gun buddies after shooting skeet and they were insistent that I wash my hands before we eat because the lead. Changed ma life srs.

Around 100,000 Americans a year have EDTA chelation therapy done to remove heavy metals such as lead from the body.

I guess sensible sunbathing can help remove lead from the body also I've read.
