Will Cody's run actually be any good?

Do you reckon?

Or will it be one of those where the best part is winning the title and then it's just like an average short run after and he drops the title to Orton or someone after a couple of months.

you very well may have a "kofi mania" or daniel bryan WM30 type of followup where the wind is out of the sails after the fans finally get what they want. but i think Cody could go heel down the line and be fantastic at it. can't assume how it'll all go.

He’ll be far from a transitional champion. Just gotta find the best heel feuds and title defenses for Cody to beat and keep that going for the next 2 years.

randy's easy money. punk is easy money. drew is hot right now as the bully heel. lots of immediate options.

can always get a roman rematch + a heel rock match down the road. they're in a great place regardless of what happens at the end of the "story"

there are a lot of interesting matchups that we havent seen. it will be a good run. it shouldn't last more than 9 months initially imo. then put gunther over and go back and forth with him a little. you have like 15 months of good, fresh programs on top if you play that right.

i only watch casually so not completely sure but from a far he looks like he'll have a run similar to drew mcintyre (he'll somewhat be the face of the company but phase out at the end of the year)

the diehard fans simply ignore this fact cause they're twinks themselves but the casual audience (who you need to become a household superstar like hogan, austin, rock, cena) are never going to buy into a guy that looks like a child and most guys who lift regularly would beat in a fight

same deal with punk, bryan etc

They are going to have some people get legitimate shots at the title now. It won't all feel predetermined like the last two years with Roman. That alone will be refreshing. I think Knight, Orton, Bray, etc will all be good feuds.
