Idgaf I’m going back to college for Computer Science

I’m not cut out to be a fuking trade worker. I’m tired of working these bs jobs for low money; tired of working full-time and being broke. Every fuking sales job I see is door knocking or for insurance.

If I go into debt and can’t find a job after I finish science I’m off the side of a cliff. (srs, not srs) Fuk it, we do it live!

good field to be in and no AI isn't going to replace everyone's job in the tech industry, worked on and off for ten or so years at this point, always interesting to go back to when I get bored

I never understood why you need to learn how to code in school. Wouldn't it be a better investment to train yourself, rather than some teacher who can't code themselves? If they were so good at coding, I highly doubt they would be open to being underpaid to teach it. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Go into IT instead. You can van find a job almost immediately and literally double your salary every other year with minimal schooling.

because even if he never uses his degree specifically to code, having a degree from an accredited University opens up doors to numerous jobs that were once unobtainable with just a HS Diploma.
