The Toronto accent is cringe AF. I think it’s a relatively new phenomenon and totally inauthentic too. They used to just talk like regular Canadians, but Toronto is so desperate for a counterculture identify they they merged a Jamaican accent with British slang and American Hip Hop fashion/attitude to create the most cringe street identity imaginable. Whenever I hear someone from Toronto try to act tough I LOL.
