The meathead who made it by maxing out every single day and eating cat food

Eric bugenhagen went from YouTube meathead to WWE. Think he blew out his quad and retired from pro wrestling. But this dudes program is pick one lift and max it out every single day. He just did an interview with elitefts and said he used to eat cat food in college because it was high quality ingredients for cheap lmfao. Now he eats like 30 blueberry bagels a day. Dudes a freak though, 805 behind the back deadlift

Back then I used to think he was a fake natty, but look at him now vs then. His old self doesn’t even look like he lifted compared to him now

Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

Well yeah, not hating on ped use but maxing all the time, eating a ton of whatever you want, getting super strong, and blowing your **** out eventually are all 100% par for the course for riding the bike. Dude obviously has a good genetic foundation to build on though, not everyone can deadlift that much no matter how much peds they use or how hard they train.

No idea where he got the notion that cat food is high quality tho
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

Yeah he's like 275 and lean now and was like 290s in WWE. think he probably was natty back then.

Likewise, I had it often in my 20s. It wasn’t great, but not terrible. Pretty cheap and less edgy than cat food. Enjoyed some snowy days with it in upstate NY.

Yeah but that's cause his back was fused. Once you get one disc fused, it's a chain reaction and will all need fused. I'd argue that the surgery was what put him in a wheelchair, not lifting.

There's nothing crazy about his program though.

Program and diets are the same in that as long as they allow you to stay consistent, they're all good.

1 lift a day is a very simple way to stay on track so I'm sure it's a sound program rather than niche.

I'd argue back that lifting insane amounts of weight, especially amounts much heavier than one's natural limits, for decades, is what caused the back issues.

Sad to see anyone like that, but one has to know that to peak that high, its going to get you in the back end. Lou Ferrigno seems to be one of the few who stayed healthy and still looks great for a dude his age. I met him a few years ago, and in his 60s he still had good posture, and looked large and shredded. allnohomo.
