Any Fans of CHEAP TRICK?
It is an old blues rock n roll band. I love such types of rock.
Wondering if anyone likes them? They are not as mainstream as other bands though so they are not well known to most rock listeners, esp modern ones.

They have two decent songs
The only reason most people today know who they are is because they had the first song on Guitar Hero II

How many songs can you all name by them besides that and Surrender? Without looking it up, of course.

Don't like them. They're one of those lame dad rock bands, like Journey, or Aerosmith.

A few of their songs are OK. Probably a more fun band to see live.

As a fellow resident rocker(and Swiftie) you know I love me some Cheap Trick
One of the best, moving performances I saw was when they opened for Heart and Journey like 10 years ago. They were the first band on playing at an outdoor venue. Sun was setting as they played The Flame and If You Need Me.
Closest I’ve ever got to tearing up at a show. The weather and setting were perfect.

I do love concerts! Oh nice, I've seen Chevelle a couple times, last time was them opening for Breaking Ben a couple years ago with my son. They put on a good show.

Yeah Cheap Trick is cool. Haven't heard them in a while, though. That brings to mind other old man rock: UFO, April Wine, BTO, T-Rex, Thin Lizzy, etc. Pleasant when it's on but would not go out of my way to buy those records.

Glad to know some fans here despite a recent influx of Miscers lately making fun of “boomer” things.
Anyway heard of Bon Jovi’s new single?

Ya I heard it. It’s not bad. Better than anything from the 2020 album but that’s not saying much. It’s boring, but as a fan I’m jaded because I know the These Days album exists and what the band used to be capable of. I preordered the vinyl anyway. They are my favorite band of all time.

If you like The Flame, give If You Need Me a listen.
