I called a high end bedding store because I need new sheets. I asked the owner what kind of sheets he uses ant home and told me and said they were about $700 for the set. But at least three times during the conversation he said “but there’s cheaper sheets as low as $400.” Keep in mind his sheets go all the way up to $2800 but he’s literally provided sheets for George Bush before and they’re the same ones he sleeps on. But there’s cheaper sheets. Imagine calling a potential customer poor over and over without ever meeting them. I get it my voice sounds young on the phone, but why do you have to call me poor.


Needless to say I’m headed to the store right now because I want nice sheets.

I don't understand whats the problem? You are poor so he was offering cheaper options that someone in poverty such as yourself can afford. He was doing an excellent job as a salesman by reading your over the phone.

Well I went there and I wasn’t impressed.. the sheets I got from bed bath and beyond before they closed were way softer tbh

I get the sheets sometimes from drinking a lot and eating poor quality take-out food.
