What I don’t understand is how shortsighted Russia and China are being trying to start a race war and turn USA into a jungle.

They understand that once the astronauts take over the USA, sure USA will collapse, but they will have access to the nukes, right?

And they understand that they *will* use them for even the slightest perceived disrespect of provocation?

Even assuming the vast majority of them fall into disrepair, even if they manage to launch only 1% of them, that is the end of the entire world.
