CCP Predicts "Blood Bath" Coming For U.S. Auto Industry

"He Xiaopeng, the CEO of XPeng Motors, predicts a “bloodbath” against America’s auto industry with the help of cheap China-made electric vehicles (EVs)"

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...auto-industry/

"Trump’s remark mimicked comments made by Xiaopeng in a letter to XPeng employees obtained by CNBC last month. Xiaopeng suggested that “a bloodbath” is coming for the American auto industry this year.

China seeks to deliver a “brutal knockout round” against its Western competitors, including the U.S., in the global EV market, Xiaopeng said."

Does anyone here have any doubt the media/leftists would completely support the end of the American auto industry if the alternative to save was Trump putting tariffs on their cars.

INB4 CNN why the death of the American auto industry is a good thing.

Dems are willing to do ANYTHING to "stick it to Trump," even intentionally destroying their own economy and industries.

To them, the ends always justify the means. That is just how deep and far gone they are in party loyalty.

Didn't Trump himself push for and sign the new NAFTA bill, which includes cars built in Mexico? Now he's going to put tariffs on Chinese cars built there?

Nobody's buying Chinese EVs in the US. That's a hilarious premise. Ford and the Stellantis brands are fuked this year though, and they did it to themselves. The same for Nissan and several others. Has zero to do with China.

The automakers are acting like it's still 2021-22 so dealer lots are overstocked in 2024. A bad time to be a new car seller, good time for selling used cars.

GM will sell well.

People forget we are in a recession and no one can afford their $700 car payment anymore (used car industry flooded with inventory), let alone a new vehicle.

Real estate agents are gonna follow behind the car salesmen. All they do is open a door. Absolutely love this for them.

GDP totals and unemployment figures, both fueled by massive government spending don't show us in a recession yet, but everything else points toward us being in a recession. I try to divorce this from who's in the White House since I don't have a derangement syndrome. It's a boom and bust cycle created almost entirely by Congress and The Federal Reserve.

Bank charge-offs on consumer loans are where they were during the dot com recession and at the same level they were just before 'the great recession.' Thetrajectoryof defaults, that is the rate of their increase is at the same pace as the lead up to 'the great recession.'

People early withdrawing from their 401K is at an all-time high. Das not good, mane. The surprising part is they're doing so more than 15 years ago. Another 'American Rescue Plan' will be hatched, it's a matter of whether it happens under Biden later this year or Trump early next year. I'm not going to finger point at either, that's petty retard stuff.

Cars made by BYD Co., which stands for Build Your Dreams, have surpassed Tesla in sales. NPR's H.J. Mai reports European carmakers are considering this an existential threat."

The EV Market is dead. USA uses COAL to generate electricity. COAL powered Chinese EVs. CCP is run by jews anyway. China is a jewish country. Mao was licking Henry Kissinger's ass decades ago.
Real Chinese people don't even exist.

Anyone that wanted an EV already bought one. There is no new buyer for these cars. No one gives a fuk about EVs. Glorified electric golf carts. They will endup polluting scrapyards just like useless electric golf carts.

Yeah I figured that's what they meant, Chinese cars sold in Europe being substituted for American and European brands. Gotta love govt green mandates. Is BYD remotely reliable or is it basically like Hyundai 30 years ago? It all makes one wonder how European brands will fare if BYD gets a decent foothold in Europe.

Even still, there's only so much market space for EVs in Europe, especially the largest countries. I don't see them upgrading their electric grids quick enough to meet govt demands on EV buying. I know in the UK it's more expensive to 'refuel' an EV at a rapid charging station than refueling a conventional vehicle. That wasn't the case a few years ago but is now. Brutal.

The absurdity of coal powered Chinese EV’s is very American and hilarious.

The EV market isn’t dead though, we’re in the iPod 2 phase of development and have a ways to get to iPhone 14.

I think coal is under 20% of US electricity. Germany gets about 1/3rd of their electricity from coal. The same in Japan. Chinese electricity - over half is from coal. The US is clean AF by comparison.

EVs are dead until the batteries are completely different, and electric grids vastly expand. They'll expand when all that happens (10-20 years???) but the mandates are absurd and will be undone. In China itself they fudge reality. They report how many EVs they make, not how many get sold and used. They have millions of EVs sitting in 'EV graveyards.' It's even worse with their electric bikes. Massive piles of EV bikes bigger than garbage dumps in the US.

We're in a recession but the market doesn't want to admit it. We've entered a new era of market where everything is based on speculation and not what's actually being built.

Cars can sit on a dealers lot for a year with no buyers and WallStreet still thinks everything is good lol.

20% of all cars sold in Europe are electric.

Plus the CCP are setting up shop all over Europe. They are playing the long game.

"The Chinese owner of the UK’s only large-scale battery factory has revealed plans for a big expansion that will put the plant in Sunderland among the biggest electric vehicle facilities in Europe."

China will fuk it up. They'll disregard every safety protocol, they'll fukking shortcut quantity over quality, they'll fudge their stats and checklists, they'll eat fried bats and chit them out in the parking area spreading every fukking humanoid disease amongst themselves, they'll lie and deny it...Fuk just let Japan go in and conquer them for the 173rd time and let them handle that car manufacturing chit.
