Saving money is one of the most painful tasks in today's time...
First it depends on how much you are earning...but even if the income is decent.....it's just hard to save money...I don't know why...there is always that temptation to spend...not necessarily have to be broke...but always end up with small amounts...such is life in today's time...

IDK I disagree kinda. I've kinda adopted the idea of personal finance, and investing, as essentially a personal hobby, srs. I don't feel the need to buy a new car. It takes a lot for me to finally say "this is my net worth, I've made this much this year, FINE I'll buy that $1k TV." I'd rather dump that $1k into the investments.

I'm planning to save about 30% of my base income working 40 hours, but right now I'm working OT and plan on banking that. So *hopefully* that be close to 50% of my net income.
Honestly working more really takes the urge to spend out. I'm having a hard time justifying a $70 video game purchase since I only play games on half of Saturday and Sunday, lmao.
