The older you get the less you know

As I get older I start to realize why most peoplehatechange.

Since 2004 I haven't seen many changes to society or new technologies I consider a net positive.

The biggest positive changes I've seen have been:

- better/safer cars
- a lot of medical advancements (Ozempic, stem cells, CRISPR, arthroscopic surgery)
- GPS for travel

That only happens if you’re lucky and continue to develop your view of the world/reality

Most people get stuck somewhere along the line

You realize that people find the level they're comfortable at and pretty much stay there till they die. As you get older you get more set in your ways and are less willing to change.

That's why past a certain age people don't generally change, regardless of what happens

Some get caught up in past pains and hold onto it for the rest of their lives. Its harder to let go and overcome

If you're coming to this realization that's a very good thing srs. It means you're still learning.

Most people become NPC wageslaves that don't have the time to think or learn.

Wait he is learning as he is getting older, isn't that contradictory to his title?

More like you stop caring about reality. You just succumb to your own created world, only caring about yourself.

As I have gotten older I have I found the written word from those who had lived their life in much more trying times than I could ever imagine to give me a broader perspective on our world today.

I adopted the same mindset more or less. I try to remain in a constant state of flow. Resistance to thoughts/emotions/life is what causes suffering

Everything is in a constant state of change, and you have to change alot with it

The more you realize how much they constantly lie to us and expect us to just blindly believe it.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
