does anyone here smoke green every day

why?
do you feel like it impacts your mental health negatively?
do you have an easy time quitting?
how does it effect your dietary choices?

I was in a few bad accidents got put on massive amounts of meds, opioids, benzos

The drugs ended up making my life much worse..So I used high dose cannabis edibles to get off everything..Alcohol too

Closing in on a year sober now and only use cannabis, nothing else

My life completely changed for the better, everything got better..My finances, work, relationships, I have a new girlfriend, I'm the responsible one in my family/friend group now

The difference is weed is a psychedelic (entheogen), not a narcotic..So you're not down-regulating important neurotransmitters you need to feel good and have your "mojo" like alcohol or other narcotics do ending up making you "comedown", "crash", "hangover" or experience "acute withdrawals"

Cannabis is not for everyone and comes with its own negative sides. It is a great medicine for many people with many different ailments however.

Only thing about health would be the smoking..That's why I focus on eating it instead (Has antioxidants/Anti-cancerous properties also)

I've used cannabis off and on since 15, I've stopped for over 5 years, sometimes a year...There are still "withdrawals" if you're using allot but its easy to stop with the proper schedule laid out all I have to do is increase my exercise and activity level for a couple weeks

Get the munchies at night for sure...Hard to hold back NGL...But I have a high ass metabolism, allot of muscle, hit the gym every day and do intermittent fasting so it works out

For most people I notice cannabis makes them a lazy POS..And I very much dislike that...That's why I said its not for everyone..

I can take 10 bong rips with an edible then go hit the gym, go to work, pick up my girl for a date..But that's me..It agrees with me..I don't try to force it on anyone or preach much about it

Quitting was easy, the only side effect was it took a few days to get back to a normal sleep schedule. I didn't have any other withdrawal symptoms and I was as heavy of a user as you'd ever see.

Yeah my emotions were a bit more fragile when I was confronted with something that caused stress. For the most part I just didn't care about things.

I live on a farm so smoking and farming was great, but I also work a 9-5 it was hard to keep up with that job.

The tough time sleeping, lack of appetite and vivid dreams are about the most noticeable side effect for me

Most realistic dreams I've ever experienced

But I normalize in a week or two..Easiest thing to stop imo

I loved stopping for a day or two and having the super intense dreams. I would guess that smoking suppresses whatever causes you to dream so when you come off there is a huge release.

Yeah I used to.

Because it made me feel good. Was in a shtty living situation and having a smoke was the only thing that I looked forward too. Helps cope with depression and made me happy. Plus I grew up kinda in a shtty hoodrat area and there wasn't much else to do.

Definitely impacts your mental health negatively in the long run. Obviously this is most noticeable when you're not high. I smoked pretty heavy though legit sometimes a quarter/day. Became more prone to mood swings and it brought out my anger problems a bit more. Harder to keep out negative thoughts when sober as well, but this is also because I had toxic family and ppl around me which just amplified the situation even more.

I actually did have an easy time quitting and can quit whenever I want. I just usually don't want to lol. What I did later on was just go on asian whoremaxxing benders every summer and get high af/pop pills like full charlie sheen mode and then either quit entirely or significantly reduce the weed intake during winter so I could have at least some kind of balance as retarded as that sounds.

Diet becomes sht. Obviously cuz of munchies I end up eating a lot of junk food at once. Also drinking a lot cuz of constant dry mouth. My fav was chocolate milk lol, would drink so much would legit be shtting out chocolate.

Exactly

Lowers REM sleep

https://www.sleepfoundation.org/slee...abis-and-sleep
Short-term cannabis use appears to increase the time you spend in deep sleep, the stage that helps you wake up feeling refreshed. However, THC decreases the amount of time you spend in rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, when you spend more time dreaming, processing emotions, and cementing new memories.
I will also add that when I completely discontinue my cannabis use my strength gains start to increase more (gonna guess this is due to CNS fatigue side effect of cannabis)

used to smoke a 1/4 ounce or more a day. Now just edibles once in a while. Dont really miss it except for the money. Now everyone and their grandma grows. If weed is affecting you guys that much you guys are weak. try quitting real drugs and alcohol. Weed is childs play. Ive met hundreds of people who smoke and ive never heard anyone complain like you guys do.

Not smoke, but vape. I time it so that I'm not doing anything super crazy (driving, work, etc.) while under the influence.

When I'm doing chores during free time I'll hit it. Sometimes I'm so in the zone that I'll do extra chores that I normally wouldn't do, srs. Outside of that, it's fun for gaming and watching movies. Learned it's not ideal for multiplayer gaming though, my performance gets pretty bad, and I'll mess up my K/D ratio or similar performance issues.

Sex while on the green is the GOAT. Food tastes better. Surprisingly I don't get any munchies from it, srs. Unlike alcohol, which guarantees I have munchies.

“Quitting” requires zero effort lol, I have like 25 years of use under my belt and have dropped it multiple times for months (for work) or up to a year.

Usually its because it makes them too anxious/paranoid/not feel right...Because they're getting a slap of reality from the psychedelic effects

Which means they have repressed emotions that need processing and or they're hiding something, not being true to themselves, etc

This is why people like this prefer alcohol because the narcotic effect numbs the emotions instead of bringing them out like weed does
