Reminded myself why I never go to these overpriced, pretentious restaurants. Some dishes reminded me of similar taste as what you get from Panda Express or the grease from a cheesy pizza that you find in the US. The best one was the mango dessert but not worth the money overall.

I'd have preferred to be eating and doing this

When I'm traveling, I honestly try to find the best hole in the wall place I can.
The best restaurant I found in Bangkok was this little outdoor cafe where I could get fried eggs and rice for like $1 every morning and then Penang Curry Chicken for like $2.50 that was literally the best Thai food I've ever had.

The point of diminishing returns for ROI on dining out is extremely low. I'll go to a nice restaurant to celebrate a promotion, birthday, or something and know that I'm paying more for the experience and less for food. It's probably not going to taste any better than the steak I can make at home or a good night at a favorite reasonably-priced neighborhood restaurant.

What were the staff like? Waiters in Paris tend to be asshats.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

I used to want to try one of those 69 course, $420 meal tastings, but now I feel like its probably not worth it anymore.
