I kind of grew past my love of Sandler as a director despite some fairly decent comedies. Of course if you laughed your ass off at them in the 90’s you are going to see the sequel.

Same circle of actors sometimes different leading lady and too much of the same humor.

Uhm, I feel like Happy Gilmore was fine but not really that great, why not. I prefer Waterboy and I think my favorite would have been Billy Madison.

used to love happy gilmore but think this will suck and actually retroactively ruin the first movie like every other cash grab late sequel/remake of the past 10 years

Happy Gilmore, Airheads, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, Billy Madison, Wedding Singer, You Don't Mess With the Zohan, Click...

Sandman does have a pretty solid filmography. Having said that, I don't know if a Happy Gilmore sequel is a good idea. What's next, a Grandma's Boy prequel set in the 90s?
