Observations from 2 Weeks in South FL

Traffic is fukkn ridiculous. We stayed in Cooper City area by the Hard Rock and had to go to Miami Beach for work. 90 minutes to go 25 miles. 95 is absurd with the construction. In FL people block red lights all of the time.

Hit the beach by the Margaritaville Hotel. Latinas in thongs with enormous azzes. Great people watching.


Hard Rock Casino kind of blows. No free drinks. The "sports book" doesn't take cash bets, you have to use their app. Hookers everywhere.


Weather was great. Enjoyed driving down Ocean Drive in the morning in Miami. I get why the ultra rich live there

Half of my extended family lives in Central Florida (Atlantic coast). There are definitely some awesome aspects of living there, it’s probably the freest you’ll ever feel on American soil, but it’s not for me. The pace of life is aggravating AF and traffic is not only insane, but nothing is close and nobody can drive for chit. Better to just vacation there. I’ve predicted Florida will see a bit of an exodus by 2030 as congestion and cost of living issues compound.
