What kind of coffees do you bros like? (no snob) (no homo)

I'm partial to African beans, specifically Ethiopian. Currently sipping on this via AeroPress:

https://www.highergroundstrading.com...nt=30948085382

But the best I've ever had was this:

https://docr.coffee/collections/curr.../ethiopia-bera

I drink my coffee black, but you're not a pussy if you prefer it with cream and sugar.

You two boyos are missing out, HOWEVER, I will say that small/"boutique" coffee roasters serve an overpriced product. Five pounds of that coffee in the second link is $145 USD.

Assuming a standard aeropress scoop of 11.5 grams and 454 grams in a single pound, once every morning: (454 * 5) / (11.5) = 197 days worth of coffee, or $0.73/day. At this daily cost, you'd drink $268.11 every year just by brewing your own chit.

I've always been a fan of Mcdonalds coffee (srs). I remember when it used to be on the dollar menu, I'd get one every morning on the way to work.

I drink different types to keep my tolerance lower. McDonald's is certainly in my list, along with Tim Horton's.

but TH > Mcdolan's

I use Volcanica Costa Rica Tarrazu Decaf beans. Used to use a French Press and drink it black but now get home made lattes every day.

I am an adult man so I drink normal mans great value black coffee that comes in a giant can. Use a generic drip coffee pot.

Cosys pennies a cup. If you dont like the taste of cheap coffee, add a pinch of salt to the grounds and it takes away the cheapness. srs

Most of the time the darkest ones. Sometimes I'll buy espresso ground and just put in the drip coffee maker. Aeropress definitely makes that stronger though. A 10 ouncer of that from the drip and it's just strong tasting, not higher caffeine than standard coffee. 10 ouncer using the Aeropress and it's like electricity is coming out of me. I'll drop and do some pushups to get energy out.

Because i am under the impression that most of you like to avoid microplastics and bpa, you should know that most coffee makers have plastic parts that are in contact with hot water, except for a few out there (BUNN commercial coffee maker, Ratio). Even then, these still have a few plastic and silicone parts in contact with warm water.

The manufacturing and processing of coffee beans/grounds/instant coffee can also expose them to plastic.

That said, I drink coffee when I go to a shop, but drink cold brew or instant coffee at home because im lazy
