Flu or food poisoning

Holy fuk 2 am woke up, violently vomited all over place, chills, fever, body caches sweat and diarrhea

Feel a little better 10 hours later but I’m exhausted and still ache- idk if was the food I ate around 5 or what

Trying not to call off tomorrow but yeesh
Truth is out there

It could be either or; they're both pathogen caused


If the fever and aches continue, you can bet on having Influenza; it's been going around in record numbers despite being past it's season

You can have a fever and not know it, going to work sick is always a bad idea, not only will you likely infect others but you could end up in the ER because of over exertion

From the sounds of it, food poisoning. It happens millions of times per year. When people say "stomach flu" that just means food poisoning, whether they realize it or not. Cross contamination is very common, where an untainted food comes in contact with a surface covered in bacteria/viruses from uncooked foods.
