How's this compare to Age of Wonders 3? I played that a ton and genuinely enjoyed it.

never played the earlier ones, this got suggested to me by someone else. played about 3 hours last night and finally getting the hang of things...sorta

One difference 4 has over 3 (i think), is that you get hero units that gain levels etc
