Another Republican Loss in a Special Election

Do you guys have any concerns about 2024? Republicans have even been struggling to win in red states now that womens rights are going to play a key role.
Glad to finally see some proof of voter fraud as well.

"Democratic candidate Marilyn Lands on Tuesday won a special election for a state House seat in Alabama after she made in vitro fertilization and abortion rights central to her campaign.

Lands, a licensed professional counselor, defeated Madison City Council member Teddy Powell, a Republican who once worked as a Defense Department budget analyst. A Republican had held the Huntsville-area seat in the state's 10th District."


"Lands had 63% of the vote to Powell's 37% with all precincts reporting."

"The special election was called after David Cole, a Republican who defeated Lands in 2022 by 7 percentage points, pleaded guilty to a voter fraud charge last year and resigned."

Man, Republicans would be so much more powerful than they are now, if they sided with libs on abortion.

Capitalism = no government intervention.

But not when it comes to abortion, heh.

Some red states are passing laws that it's illegal to go to another state to get an abortion, so therefore, that might hit the Supreme Court some day.

I am sure people will just shrug it off for being a rinky dink local election, but it's definitely a trend. Democrats just keep on winning elections despite what the current polls say.

That said, I do think that Democrats are more likely to turn out in special elections these days, especially in purple or red districts. Republican turnout has not been great in special elections.

All these Democratic wins are definitely something Republicans should be paying attention to, but I doubt Republicans will have issues turning out to vote in November regardless.

(R)s that pretend like 2024 is a lock are delusional. I've been saying this, even before the 2020 presidency. Lefties HATE Trump so much that it motivates them. Couple that with the trending demographics of this country and 2024 will leave (R)s in the dust. They're a dying party.

Latino voters vote 64-36% for Democrats
Black voters vote 94-6% for Democrats
Asian voters vote 70-30% for Democrats

The USA will never again overcome the minority voting deficit. (R)s need to come to terms with that.

It's pretty mind blowing how confident some of them are even after the disastrous 2022 midterms.

Wow, a state house seat. Mind blowing. The in vitro law was beyond stupid and very recent, so it wouldn't be too surprising if it's backlash from that. Some Republican led states have gone too far with their new abortion laws, IMO. Set the limit at 16 weeks or so, ya won't get pushback. Set it at 6 weeks and even some Republicans are going to angrily vote blue.

There will always be pushback against abortion unless Roe comes back.
Women are clearly not standing for taking away their rights and then offering to give a portion back as if its doing them a favor.

And then instead of trying to fix those deficits, Republicans double down.
They are blaming minorities for the Baltimore bridge being destroyed by a ship collision and yelling DEI and woke all over Fox News and its various offspring networks.
That bridge was built in the 1970s.

Racism is core part of the Republican brand and will never change.
They dont seem to care that white voters are becoming a smaller part of the voting electorate, and young white people vote Democratic far more than the elderly white people they are replacing.
The Republican party is dying.
