Thankfully someone is going after the fecal scum who squat in people’s houses
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a new law into effect Wednesday, eliminating squatters’ rights in the state.

The law increases penalties for squatting and also makes it easier and quicker for property owners to have squatters evicted from their homes

I kind of wish he would just sign a bill that would make it legal to remove squatters by homeowners with physical force where homeowners can use sledge hammers to squatters brains to remove them

owners find out and call police.
they present a fake lease and claim "i've been here a month" and lazy cops say "it's a civil matter".
20 months later you get your day in court and eviction starts.
they destroy your home then leave.
you pack your angus with A&D ointment and heal while you scrape human feces off the ceiling.


a NYS home owner changed the locks on a squatter recently and was arrested because the squatter called the police on them.

it is soo Focked up.

there are people who you can hire to squat on the squatters and drive them out because they act so terrible.
