Made it to 7 months sober a few days ago (reps)

The first few months were brutal and I just looked forward to my next drink most days. I still do from time to time, but for the most part it's just something I don't do anymore. Tbh it mostly feels mid, still depressed a lot despite getting my chit back together. Initially I felt my mind clearing a bit but that was probably just me getting back to normal. It feels great never having hangovers though. Love having productive weekends hitting the gym at 8a on Saturday. Don't even remember what it's like to be either drunk or hungover.

I get FOMO from time to time especially when it comes to bar sloots but realistically there isn't much left to see. Already bagged girls I never thought I could get. Reps till I'm out brahs. Starting to get invites to grab beers nd chit but I'll try to stick it out for a yr then reconsider.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Congrats OP! Not trying to tell you how to live your life or anything, but sometimes the misc confuses me when they say they are getting sober?

Like how much are you guys drinking? Lol for me if someone is getting sober I think of like Intervention slamming shots every night til incoherent.

Sounds to me OP you're just gave up the drinking lifestyle it does spill over to day by day. Good Luck.

I guess by definition no but I was turning into one. At first I always just drank at bars or clubs but I eventually started drink 2-4x a week, sometimes drunk during the day. Started with waiting until the weekend, to waiting until 3pm on Friday, to drinking any night of the week I saw fit. Had a lot of friends that drank and I liked it too so I was getting doubly wasted. Towards the end I was definitely drinking to escape the very problems I was causing.

See above. As far as girls I don't really have any good advice. I got a bit too dependent on the bar scene, and nowadays a lot of trashy girls will act slooty and have sex with you just cause you look decent srs. One thing I'd say is that most nights I went into the bar just to get drunk while watching sports, instead of going in looking for it. Only tip I can give is to be chill/fun and start lifting if you don't have anything else going for you.

Got you on spread.
