Went for a quick grocery store trip and ofc immediately greeted by the homeless asking for change.

I avoid eye contact and a minute later some black homeless was getting into everyone's face asking for a quarter, ofc told him no.

I'm checking out and this mexican worker is yelling "this guy has something in his bag" to a white homeless guy. Security guard was a 130lb old white man and was trying to stop him in his tracks but didn't put hands on him (prob policy). The bum ended up getting by and just walked on like nuthin happened. Everyone was just laughin including all the workers

Meanwhile I paid $21.50 for this big ass watermelon (da fuk?). fkn should've checked the price didn't realize how expensive chit is these days.

It's a mostly white/college student area but turned diverse out of nowhere the past couple weeks

$21 for a watermelon? I go through thumping melons and checking the sound it makes and even then sometimes I get a melon that does not taste that good and the texture is off. Will be checking price next time and no, watermelon is not a necessity.

Another thought on produce freshness is, whenever I’m in a ****** area, the produce always sucks. I used to live in north Jersey and the produce sucked and I thought it was because Italians were subhuman but in hindsight, it was probably because of ****** I now live in a heavily ****** area with no Italians and the produce sucks again.

My mom lives 20 miles away in a white town and the produce is great there.
